Dr. Anna Wu, lecturer in organic chemistry, is recruiting visiting chemistry scholars. Her current research interests include:
(1) Organic small molecule catalysis
(2) Transition metal catalysis
(3) No catalyst required,
(4) Photocatalysis or electrocatalysis, based on the above free radical coupling and addition reactions, is used to synthesize biologically active heterocyclic and sugar small molecules.
The above synthetic methodology focuses on the development of environmentally friendly catalysts, emphasizing atomic efficiency. Starting from commercially available raw materials, the method utilizes a tandem one-step reaction, enabling rapid results. It is suitable for both short-term and long-term visiting researchers with publication goals. Scholars with related fields include organic chemistry, polymer catalysis and synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and natural product extraction and isolation. With Dr. Wu's personal guidance, assistance with experimental progress, and technical training, scholars can quickly acquire the skills and complete their projects.
