Qihengxing StarPure Magnetic Bead Soil Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit The nucleic acid of microbial communities (such as bacteria and fungi) in the soil can be extracted and purified, and the protein and nucleic acid in plant debris and animal remains in the soil can be effectively filtered. At the same time, impurities such as pigments and humic acid in the soil can be removed to avoid affecting the application of the extracted nucleic acid in downstream detection. This kit can be applied to various types of soil samples, such as organic nutrient soil, sandy soil, red soil, saline-alkali soil, etc. About 4 μg of nucleic acid can be extracted from 500 mg of soil sample, and the extracted and purified nucleic acid product can be directly used for downstream detection, such as PCR, qPCR, NGS, first-generation sequencing, etc.

  • The sample is suitable for a wide range of different soil types

DNA was extracted from samples of different soil types from different places using the Qihengxing soil DNA extraction reagent and different imported and domestic soil DNA extraction kits, with three replicates for each sample. For most samples, the amount of DNA extracted by the Qihengxing StarPure soil DNA extraction kit was higher than that of kits from other suppliers.

Samples 1-8 are Beijing-Garden Soil 1, Beijing-Garden Soil 2, Sanya-Sandy Soil, Sanya-Saline-Alkali Soil, Jiangsu-Field Soil, Shanghai-Orchard Soil, Taiyuan-Garden Soil, and Taiyuan-Field Soil respectively.

  • High extraction efficiency and better data relevance
Different numbers of rice blast fungus spores were added to sterile soil to make the final concentrations of 5000, 10000, 25000, 50000, 100000, 250000 and 500000 spores/500mg soil. DNA was extracted from these soils using Qihengxing, imported and domestic brand soil extraction kits, eluted with 50μl of elution buffer, and 4μl of the extracted DNA was used for qPCR detection using Qihengxing StarLighter SYBR Green qPCR Mix (FS-Q1002). The Ct value results are shown in Table 1. Qihengxing soil extraction kit showed good extraction efficiency and better input-output correlation (higher R 2 ).
