StarLighter HS Probe qPCR Kit (Universal) This is a probe-based qPCR Kit that uses an ultra-high-performance hot-start genetically engineered Taq Pro DNA polymerase configuration. The optimized buffer reaction system can effectively inhibit non-specific amplification, greatly increasing the amplification efficiency of qPCR, and is suitable for ultra-sensitive qPCR detection. This product has been verified by animal embryo sex detection and can efficiently amplify genomic DNA with as little as 10 pg of starting template. The polymerase in this qPCR Mix is blocked with antibodies, and the enzyme activity can be restored at above 90°C for 30 seconds. The DNA polymerase in this product catalyzes DNA synthesis in the 5'→3' direction, has 5'→3' exonuclease activity, and has no 3'→5' proofreading exonuclease activity. This product has 3'-dA protruding ends in the amplified product, and the amplification speed is 1-10s/kb. It is compatible with the standard and rapid modes of qPCR instruments.

The sex of low-starting-amount template bovine embryos was identified using Qihengxing and a competitor's product. Qihengxing reagent had higher sensitivity, with a Ct value 2-4 Ct values ahead of that of its competitor KP.

  • Excellent linear range

Using human genomic DNA as a template, the sample was serially diluted to 0.0064 ng-100 ng. There was an excellent linear relationship between the log value of the template amount and the Ct value.

Using human genomic DNA as a template, the reagent was diluted 5-fold in a series (100 ng-0.0064 ng). The reagent can effectively amplify ultra-low concentration templates.
