StarLighter HotStart Taq Pro PCR Mix This ready-to-use PCR mix is formulated with the ultra-high-performance hot-start Taq Pro DNA polymerase, enabling rapid and efficient DNA synthesis and effectively resistant to various inhibitors. It is effective for amplifying purified DNA, crude DNA extracts, bacterial cultures, and other samples. The polymerase in this PCR mix is blocked with antibodies, and enzymatic activity is restored within 30 seconds at temperatures above 90°C. The enzyme catalyzes DNA synthesis in the 5'→3' direction, exhibiting 5'→3' exonuclease activity but lacking 3'→5' proofreading exonuclease activity. The resulting amplified product has 3'-dA overhangs and can be directly cloned into TA vectors after purification. The amplification rate is 1-10 s/kb.
The optimized Taq Pro DNA polymerase is significantly resistant to various inhibitory factors and effectively amplifies complex templates with high GC content and secondary structures.
It can be used for direct amplification of bacterial liquid, colonies and crude extracted samples, saving time and being highly efficient.
